It is my understanding that the Poetry Foundation chooses the poems for the anthology from which the students' performances must come. I am writing to inquire precisely what person or persons at the Foundation are involved in the selection process.

Hello Jennifer-

The selection process is a joint one between the POL team at the Poetry Foundation and the POL team at the NEA. We are always happy to take suggestions from the public; if you have any poems you would like to propose you can send them directly to me. Please be aware however, sometimes because of copyright, permissions or other issues we are not able to include all poems.
