It's been a pretty good week for me. I saw today that one of my authors, Virginia Slachman, is featured on Verse Daily. Virginia is not generally a formalist, but her work has a lovely meditative, philosphical inclination that is worth checking out. Here is the link to her work:

I agree that her composition contains pleasing subject-matter handled in a meditative manner... but it's prose all the same, and would read much better if presented as prose, without the pointless lineation. On another matter, I followed up the announcement elsewhere of your contest for manuscripts, the best to be published in book form, with a prize to the winner. I'd be tempted to enter, but I have pretty well set my goal at 100 or more poems which I do not blush to read, including some long ones. I'm a little ways from that goal as yet, but too far gone in years to think of publishing a series of thin little books.
