The current issue of Sewanee Review has published my poem "Rooster" and the next issue is scheduled to publish two of my nine-eleven poems, at least one of which appeared here in Eratosphere.

Paul, when I was a slip of a lad, Robert Penn Warren told me "Work hard and someday you'll be in the SEEwanee REEview." It's a great credit to have, it takes George Core two years to publish his acceptances, but let me be the first to tender my congratulations. I loved the poem.

Paul:
Congratulations. I've been trying to crack that nut for years and have come very close, but despite taking almost all the prose I submit, Core has yet to accept a poem. I consider his acceptance a real achievement. Richard |
Thanks, Tim and Richard. I'd previously published a poem and an essay in the SEEwanee REEview, but it always feels great to get in. I'll look for your prose (and poetry!) in future issues, Richard. Just saw your poem recently, Tim.

Paul,
I was too consumed by jealousy to respond quickly to the announcement of such good news, but now that the green is fading a bit, let me add my congratulations to those above! It's a great credit! Tony |
Thanks, Tony. It was after many years of trying that I finally got into SR. Keep trying. Sooner or later if you keep sending your best work, you'll get in.
|
Congratulations, Paul.
Best regards, David |
