Word came this morning that I won the Iambs and Trochees competition for "Upriver," a poem that was considerably improved by a discussion here at Able Muse. I ain't sharing the prize money, though.

Congratulations, Richard. Perhaps I should have
run my poem by the eyes here at the Muse!???

Anyway, please note that the Musers did awfully well
by themselves this year. I count Richard, Art Mortensen
(publisher of Somers Rocks Press), Richard Moore, and
Jennifer Reeser among the 11 winners.

Congrats to all.

Len:
Thanks for listing the other winners who have trod these boards. I'd have done it myself, but all I had was the email notification, which didn't include the other names.
It's a pleasure to be in such fine company.
Richard
