Today's mail brought the new issue of "Dark Horse" with many familiar names and some new ones I hope to get to know better. Get it, read it, subscribe to it!
My little poem in there pales beside many of the others, but insofar as it holds up at all I have my fellow eratospherians to thank for helping me knock it into shape.

I don't have a subscription to dark horse yet, so tell me who all is in there.

Jason, Richard is being modest. His poem is one
of the particularly nice things in the magazine
(a double issue, by the way).

Since Gerry
Cambridge, the editor, has visited West Chester
on occasion, it doesn't seem surprising that many
Chesterians and Sphereans are included:

Anthony Hecht (appreciation of Richard Wilbur)
X. J. Kennedy
Deborah Warren
Dana Gioia (essay)
N. S. Thompson
Richard Wakefield
John Ridland
Len Krisak
Bill Coyle
Ann Stephenson
Catherine TufarielloDiane Thiel
Sam Gwynn (reviewed)
Robert Frost (reprint of a 1916 newspaper item)

I'm sure I left some interesting things out, but
there it is. Strongly recommended for subscribing.

Sounds like a great issue. I'm going to have to subscribe soon.
