The world changed drastically overnight, September 11; I'm sure the poetry audience was not what it might have been on September 12, under normal circumstances, so I'm doubly grateful for your alertness. The poem's topic has to do with blindness and night -- so perhaps it had some eerie, coincidental relevance the day it appeared. May those in power find a just way through this darkness.
