Yes, it's one of the oldest, most coveted web awards. The good news is that we won it! The bad news is that we won yesterday (when I was gone all day) & nobody here probably saw it (or rated us for Cool Site of the Month!) when we were on their front page.

But we're now listed in their archives .

Those who haven't rated us (& why haven't you!? :) can't do so at our usual ratings page - click here .

Cheers,
...Alex

Now see, Alex, "cool" is a word that reflects a value system different from mine. Perhaps "fusty site of the day" would get my mojo running. Or maybe "most insufferable personalities of the Internet"...

Well, damn! Cool or fusty,
I think Alex deserves a medal.

Congrats, fella!

Len

Len, thanks!
Mike, I think they are cool (ok, BIG), because, just by announcing that we're cool, 800+ visitors from their site rushed through the gates of Able Muse to look around. So, ssshhh, they're still here & they might hear you! :)

I think "savage" is the word of choice among the unwrinkled--over the last couple of weeks anyway. Isn't that a word we could all get behind? Savage site of the new millenium!

OK, what the moderator meant to say was: I am extremely thrilled, indeed honored beyond mere comprehension, to be but a small part of a meritorious organization that has finally received the recognition it so richly deserves. (...that's my story and I'm sticking with it). OK, leggo now, Alex, it's already popped out of the socket!
