My essay "The Enchanted Loom" just appeared in the new Southwest Review. Although it's about more than poetry, it does explore poetry in, I hope, new and interesting ways. Better have a cup of coffee before having at the essay; it's long and rather complex--but fun, I hope, too.

Congratulations. I thought your essay, "Expansive Poetry in the New Millenium" in EDGE CITY REVIEW was a terrific mix of the practical, the objective and the polemic (and of the personal and the global), and was, blessedly, just as long as it needed to be. Might the new essay be posted on-line somewhere, or will one have to hunt down a copy of the magazine?

Congratulations! Although I'm not in need of more things to add to my reading list, this goes right at the top. RPW |
