Pulitzer for Poetry
Pulitzer prize goes to poet Tracy K. Smith for Life on Mars. Meanwhile, no prize for fiction this year!

I recently started reading her "The Body's Question". She's an amazing poet.

So I've heard. I need to catch up with her.
I wonder why this mention garnered no interest here. Is she not read by Erato types? It would appear we are missing out. RM |
She's not a formalist, but she knows how to do it. Her poem entitled, Mangoes, blew me away. Way away.

And kudos to Forrest Gander for being a finalist. He and C.D. Wright have preserved Frank Stanford's legacy.
