Margaret Reid contest for traditional verse
 

Here's another contest I came across for rhyming/traditional verse that may be of interest -- the Margaret Reid contest at the Winning Writers website. Here's the link. The deadline is Sept 30.

I don't know anything about the contest other than what's on the website, but I noticed some familiar names among people who have won or placed in the past. Sphereans John Whitworth, Shaun Russell and David W. Landrum have been either commended or shortlisted. I also noticed names of people who are not on the Sphere, but are probably known around these parts: Marilyn L. Taylor won in 2015, and Michael Burch, Christine Klocek-Lim, and David J. Rothman have received mention.
