Ahem...
Two years after accepting it, The Sewanee Review has finally published my essay on the poetry of Richard Wilbur, which is entitled "Islands of Order." A.S. |
Nicely done, Alan.

Well done indeed! Drinks all round I presume?

Congrats, Alan,
but my Borders sometimes doesn't carry The Sewanee (joke). What is the exact issue number, etc., so I can read it? I'm dying to get my hands on the piece. Well-done!!! |
Alan, congratulations. And when people are through devouring your fine article, perhaps they'll page over to the review section and take in my piece on the collected poems of Amy Clampitt. And maybe they'll also note the suitably laudatory review of Sam Gwynn's "No Word of Farewell" (which I'm reviewing in an upcoming issue of Light, I think).
Excellent work, Alan. Richard |
Congratulations, Alan - I'll look forward to reading it.

Alan, way to go! That's my dream journal. I last placed an essay there 26 years ago (Core has sent back a poem twice and will look again). Hope you don't have to wait as long for your next acceptance.
