That is marvelous. Let's hope she wins. Gotta read that book.

Thanks, Lance, for posting. And prayers for Marly! I read the excerpt--the link posted on the Sphere earlier--and thought it lovely. It's on my list of books read...

Thanks--
Thanks, Lance and Janice and Charlotte and Lady Word-of-Mouth! So glad Eratospherians have mentioned the book on a couple of threads now--as we all know, such mentions are so important.
And I'm grateful to Mercer for the nominations--they both take some time and expense, and I'm glad they are choosing to spend their resources that way. I just posted a copy of an assessment of the book by poet Jeffery Beam: http://thepalaceat2.blogspot.com/201...-camellia.html. And now there is a good bit on the book page there as well and on the new facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ADeathAtThe...elliaOrphanage. |
It's a stunning book that absolutely deserves to win. Anyone who hasn't yet bought a copy should do so right away. Seriously.

Wow, wow, wow! Fantastic!

Sweet. Just bought the novel. The reviews currently up on amazon are outstanding.
|
Thanks for supporting the book, all! It means a lot to me.
