Thanks for posting these comments, Clive. I hesitate to speak too much of this project, lest I appear to be taking advantage of my seniority on the sphere. And I had not even thought of altering my profile. I never look at the member profiles, as I feel they might prejudice my responses to poems.

I'm now in the process of setting up a second site, a weblog, which will interlink and share some design elements with the first. I should have that site, seablogger.com, operational in a couple of days. Meanwhile I have just redesigned " crucat.com " If you've seen it earlier, stop by and take another look!

I have been floating over there on and off, the new design is great. I have been enjoying the reviews, the cruising memoir and the poems so far, just lovely.

Glad to know I have at least one fan in Australia. Isn't the web great? If I published a book in the States, I'd never get a copy across the Pacific, unless someone hand-carried it. International book distribution is nightmarish; even Amazon depends on incompetents higher up the supply chain.

I'm launching a second site this week. The URL will be http://www.seablogger.com/ I should have it up and running tomorrow or Wednesday. The two sites will interlink, and...well, you'll see, if you go back for another look.

I have just added full text of my "Giants in the Earth" libretto to my other website ( http://www.crucat.com ). Does anyone know a composer? I still haven't got one. Alva Henderson is going to work on Dana Gioia's 9/11 requiem, and Stefania de Kennessey has declined, saying she didn't think there was enough dramatic action on the stage. Maybe she wanted the blind ride in the blizzard, and the Norwegians' brawl with the Irish. I thought those might be a bit much for smaller companies, in the unlikely event that this work ever sees the stage at all.

Well, I'll try contacting some of the folks listed on Art Mortensen's Expansive Poetry and Music site. Bye for now.
