A Christmas Poem
At Christmas little children sing and merry bells jingle, The cold winter air makes our hands and faces tingle And happy families go to church and cheerily they mingle And the whole business is unbelievably dreadful, if you're single. Wendy Cope |
Tim, Ho ho! Beautiful. And dreadful even if you're not! May the force be with you. Janet |
When Wendy gave me Serious Concerns, rather than have her sign the frontispiece, I had her sign this page!
|
Not so dreadful,Tim. You're breathing God-Country air!
Merry Christmas!! |
Hey, did her third book come out in the US?
|
Yes, I read it and found many good poems in it, though I am still more fond of her first two.
