Same here. In the States we call the equipment Snow Guns (we have a thing with guns) and Trail Groomers (we have a thing with grooming, too).
What I forgot to mention in my previous comment was that the title plays off the Christian Beatitudes:
"Blessed are the peacemakers" which fits nicely with the poem's conceit.
