The Keats-Shelley House in Rome is an independent museum dedicated to the life and work of the English Romantic poets. It holds a unique collection and library and receives over 25,000 visitors per year. There is an active outreach and learning programme in place for International and Italian schools.
The Trustees of the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association are seeking an experienced museum professional to be responsible for the permanent collection and to deliver a programme of temporary exhibitions. The successful applicant will also take a leading role in managing and developing the museum with responsibility for a small team of staff and volunteer placements. He or she will possess a degree in a relevant humanities subject. A recognised museum qualification and a working knowledge of Italian are also essential.
