Mercer U. Press has nominated Marly Youmans' novel, A Death at the White Camellia Orphanage, for a National Book Award and a Pulitzer.

Thanks, Lance and Janice and Charlotte and Lady Word-of-Mouth! So glad Eratospherians have mentioned the book on a couple of threads now--as we all know, such mentions are so important.

And I'm grateful to Mercer for the nominations--they both take some time and expense, and I'm glad they are choosing to spend their resources that way.
