Thanks to you, Chris.

And thanks to Sharon as well as those who stopped in to just take a look.

Hi Vernon
Perhaps you said but what is the medium? Is it digital?
It is reminiscent of a silkscreen. I like the subject and the layered effect.
I also like the colors you employ. It may be the reproduction on the screen here but I think it needs some different values. Much of this is very close in value. A bit of value change (but not too much) could add a focal point or you could use it to lead the viewer's eye where you want it to go. Nice work, thanks for sharing.

Sharon, you haven't seen me here for a while because I am not painting at the moment. I am beginning to itch to get back to it, however.

It is digital; and there are multiple values, but I agree not enough range. Chris and Sharon said something similar. Thanks for confirming that. I may paint it again with that in mind. Nice of you to stop by.

I think a lot of the issue is viewing it on a computer screen. Now at night, I can see much more value range, especially in those fabulous bright blues

I like that one too. I know you said these are digital but are you printing them on canvas, or...?

I am printing them on inkjet transparencies and plan to mount them in plexigas. They can also be displayed in a digital frame.and they can be printed onto canvas or heavy watercolor paper.
