I want to give a huge shout-out for all the work that Nic Sebastian is doing at Poetry Storehouse. You will remember Nic's "Very Like a Whale" with interviews of many who were already our friend
http://verylikeawhale.wordpress.com/...-paul-stevens/ (and Kate of Umbrella, Christine of Autumn Sky both clickable from Paul's page and both lamented zines) and other editors who may have been first introduced to us by Nic.
Poetry Storehouse is a treasure house. It is an amazing experience to have written a poem and then find a new dimension added to it by hearing it in someone else's voice or with the addition of sound, illustration, music or a combination of these.
I was just knocked off my block to have some of my poems get this mind expanding treatment. I never thought that any poem of my own would give me goose bumps, so it has to be the presentation that did it. Some of these poems first appeared here in the workshop, so I'm linking to them with thanks to all who commented when they were first posted. I will always remember, for instance, that Susan McLean gave a helping hand with the title of "Fissures".
