Who's Going to Poetry by the Sea?
I can't wait to see many of you at our gorgeous and peaceful conference location, and it all starts next Tuesday!
Obviously I'll be there, leading the Mezzo Cammin Women Poets' Seminar and on Quincy's Negative Reviews Panel, plus I'm on a panel on Editing Literary Journals with Allison Joseph & Anna Lena Phillips Bell.
Of course, I'm in charge of registration so I know which of you are coming already, but feel free to share your activities in this thread with others!
Also, a single coveted onsite shared room has just opened up (Females only please!) due to a last minute cancellation. If you want to snag it, click this link for a new registration, or get in touch with me if you already have a registration and want to change your accommodation arrangements!
See you by the sea very soon!

Me, as you know, since I have a Timeline essay this year. I'll be one of the Tuesday New Books readers (barring transportation disaster!) and I'm taking Rowan Ricardo Phillips's one-day workshop on the ode.

Let 'er Rock!
I will be there for one day as Jane Satterfield invited me to be on her panel on Rock 'n' Roll and Poetry. I had wanted to go to both conferences for a little time, at least, so I'm happy I will be there for Friday.
The rock 'n' roll panel starts at 8:30 am. April Linder and Dan Albergotti are on the panel as well. Between April, who adores him, and me, ...a Jerseyan, there will likely be mention of Bruce Springsteen.

I wish I could be there, Anna, but I was invited to chair a panel on "Whitworth at Seventy" at West Chester, and couldn't spare the time to do both conferences. John, bless him, made all the arrangements for both of us and we're travelling together from Heathrow.
Next year, if I can't do both, I will make Poetry by the Sea my first choice!
I wish you all a great time.

I won't be able to make it this year, but I very much hope to make next year's event, and I feel quite confident it will go forward next year as well.

It was fun. Typical poetry panel--I got the audience to do "Werewolf of London" howls.

Very nice photographs. My fifth and youngest child is getting married today. I have not been able to make the conference, obviously, so it is good to see these. Thanks.
