I'm trying to finish the last proofing for my book due out next year from the University of Toronto Press, and it includes specific thanks to Maryann Corbett and Bill Lantry for their erudition and initiative in helping me with some very hard and arcane points.

So many others have tried to help too, and I just all of a sudden wanted to thank you to all of you who have tried to help me over the years when I have asked about commerce in coconuts 1300 years ago and the like.
