Well, that was surprising...
I am reviewing the new biography of Richard Wilbur and discovered that the co-authors cited two paragraphs of my comments about a piece by David Mason on Wilbur--from a 2001 Eratosphere post.
It's clearly my handiwork, but I still don't remember writing it--another sign of advancing age.

Well done! How about more details, Mike, so we can find the post and link to it?

Not a sign of advancing age at all. It's just a sign that you say too many brilliant things for even a brilliant mind like yours to keep track of.
It's also cool that Eratosphere has become a primary source!

Maryann: Despite being the first moderator here, I have never figured out most of the technology & I don't have a clue as to how to find it.
Roger: I adhere to the senility explanation, but enthusiastically endorse the notion that it is exciting to see Eratosphere cited as a source.

Perhaps it was not Eratosphere at all. Perhaps they have been stalking you.
Mike, Roger is right, so you really ought to expect these things more often. But then, you might become an arrogant jerk. And I would have to quit quoting you

That is actually an unnerving thought.

Maryann, yes that's it, although they trimmed the beginning & the end.
Thanks so much--I appreciate it.
