I've had some acceptances in the past few weeks, all on poems which were workshopped here, and thanks are in order.

Candelabrum (UK) took A Bouquet of Triolets.

Medicinal Purposes accepted The Love of Sushi Sue.

And Cumberland Poetry Review took four poems: two sonnets - The Disappearance and The Perfect Sonnet - plus Erato Makes the Sarasota Scene, which was about four rabbis boarding a charter fishing boat; and a hybrid tanka/het-met piece on a chance New York encounter with an old Tokyo geisha lover, Two Tales from the East, which was one of the first poems I workshopped here, about a year ago.

The advice, feedback and encouragement I received on the Sphere was a major factor in slapping these into enough shape to get into print. Sushi Sue, in particular (bless you, Kevin, Chris and Roger) was tweaked until it bled - and began to make more sense. Thanks to all.

Congratulations, Michael! I don't know the other journal, but Candelabrum and CPR are certainly good credits. That's excellent news.

Michael, I recall enthusing over your Bouquet of Triolets last summer (I think), and I am delighted to learn that you have your poems are beginning to win the recognition they deserve.

Congratulations!

Michael,

Congratulations, and you are entirely welcome. It was a pleasure to read and critique Sushi Sue.

I'm glad so many others will now have the chance to enjoy your poem.

Kevin

Good job, Michael. It's a pleasure to see more of the Sphere conquering the world, and to know that Sushi Sue has found a good home.
