That works for me! "Exalted" becomes the stand-out word, turning the wielder of the broom into a god for half a second, until the speaker inevitably repositions himself as the victim. The title "A Little One" establishes the speaker's humble place in the scheme of things (as well as the spider's and the poem's), much as the last line of Frost's "Design" applies to the speaker and not just the spider:

...What but design of darkness to appall?
If design govern in a thing so small.
