[Michael Juster]

I know many of us here are huge fans of the late Michael Donaghy. As great as his words are on the page, he was even more electric on stage. Unfortunately, there is next to nothing of him available on tape. I know that the West Chester University poetry conference tapes its readings for posterity, but to date (to the best of my knowledge) it has not released any of them--mostly because they do not own the rights to the poems. Michael was astonishing there--I remember.

It's time for WCU to work with the owner of Michael's Collected, PanMacmillan, to show the world what a poet he was. I just now tweeted all of this as best I could in 140 characters (@amjuster). Please retweet it or ask others on Twitter to do so.

No, I missed that, so thank you, but I still would like to see his performance videos in the public domain. My guess is that the only people paying for audio are in the small but intense group of people who are already fans.
