Jolly good poem, Ed. Bloody poor artwork though. The nearest America got to a Nazi was old Joe Kennedy, a much nastier piece of work.

Hi John,

You raise some interesting, if tangential, questions about Donald Trump and Joseph Kennedy and their politics.
Like you I think, I'm no fan of calling people Nazis unless they are Nazis or neo-Nazis. This would include some of those at Charlottesville, a group that Donald Trump recently said included some "very fine people."
I would therefore argue that the artwork hoists Donald Trump by his own petard. It is topical.
Joe Kennedy is long gone. The various Allied Powers were not without their appeasers.
