Default My Website

I've put up a website where I share some of my children's poems, translations, and light verse. Here it is.

I like it, why call yourself Slater, Schechter seems fine to me, I would suggest you put one adult poem to see on the opening page, I would also let the poems speak for themselves rather than providing a blurb for each one although not for translations they need some background. I liked the site for kids the children's poem lead to. I am also most impressed by your translations and achievements and the site in it's entirety but please put the photo of you in drag in a more prominent position, it's a gem.

Ross, thanks. But the fellow in drag is John Cleese.

Actually, Michael Palin.

Great website though, Roger. Very well assembled and highly readable. Nicely done!

Hi Roger/Robert,

Well, there goes your secret identity!

Your site is really well put together and looks great. Very impressive! I'll try some of your children's poems out on my son (knew I'd find a use for him eventually).

Spotted a typo on the home page, 3rd para, first sentence: "magaiznes"

best,

Matt

Congratulations, on a lovely website featuring your very fine work.

But as Shaun said, the wonderfully funny fellow in the photo is Michael Palin also of Monty Python fame.

I remember that time in childhood when I figured out that the moon borrowed the sun's light. Emily (7 years) likes the jokes.

Best, Eileen

Thanks for posting this. Much enjoyed! It's a very elegant, well-done site. I'm jealous.
