Default Ballade des pendus

This morning our Chairman, Mr. Parnassus, read me his dripping wet, brand spanking new translation of Ballade des pendus, Villon's Epitaph and most famous poem. It's fantastic of course. Paula Deitz had written him saying she wanted to devote an issue of Hudson Review to French translation, and uncharacteristically for Dick, he did it in three days. I think we can safely assume it will be accepted for publication.

Great news (although I had been thinking of doing some Villon on my vacation).

Cathy Chandler saw this post and sent five of her wonderful translations from romantisme quebecois to THR. Good for her.
