Default poem in Kin

I have a poem titled "Snail" (inspired by Marianne Moore's "To a Snail") in Kin Poetry. It's a lovely venue and I'm very happy to be in it. Thanks to the fine folks at Kin!

I love it -- made me go back to Moore. I'd like to use both in teaching in an upcoming workshop -- how poetry can inspire poetry -- thanks!! Wish I could take the world that slowly

Lovely, Nausheen. Let us all practice "snaily/humility."

The internal rhymes tug the poem along nicely. Snaily, in fact.

Well done, Nausheen!

I particularly like the image of the snail on a knife-edge!

Nausheen,

Very enjoyable, especially the 'snaily sort of humility,' which I'm still rolling around on my tongue and thinking about. Congrats: and thanks, for the good read.

Best,

Ed

Delightful, Nausheen. I love your soundplay. I notice that Philip Quinlan also has a poem in the same issue that makes great use of sound.

What lovely word play. What playful wordiness. Kin is IN.
