Ahhhhh, the wonder of the science of polling. And the eventual rising of our children. Salut!

Apparently Theresa May is vowing to stay on. So, there's that.
Cheers,
John
In other news, DT's White House staff don't know whether he has tapes or not.

John, forgive me if I quote a few of your remarks and predictions over the last few weeks:
Mrs May will win even more easily because her opponents are all political idiots.
A whole sheaf of opinion polls are predicting 400 Tory seats and an overall majority of 150.
Theresa seems on course for a majority so huge even I wonder whether it is altogether a good thing.
The big day will probably end with a Tory majority of over 200.
I just have to add today that the latest opinion polls in the UK give the Tories 49% and Labour 27%. This would give Theresa an overall majority over all parties of around 170 seats.
Forgive me, too, if I snigger slightly, but ever so politely.
I must admit that even I feel a certain pity for Theresa May having to grovel before a bunch of riff-raff in order to make a shabby deal that will enable her to cling desperately to power.

John, Trump's doctors confirm that he does indeed have tapeworms, but it's not sure that they were able to record anything useful.

Brian, you're not being fair to John. His predictions turned out to be wrong, but he expressed them with humility and deference to the possibility that other intelligent people whom he respects could well see things differently.

You can brag all you want, Brian, but I think that it's still obvious that (a) our President is dumber, less informed, more corrupt, and more self-involved than any Prime Minister or member of royalty (including the Duke of Windsor, who at least had the good graces to leave) England has ever known, going all the way back to Ethelred the Iambic; and (b) he's very proud of it.

Ah John, I thought of you when I heard Canterbury has gone Labour. This is all a bit of a car crash, but I can't help giggling. If she couldn't win big, I'm sure Mrs May would have preferred to have lost so that Brexit would be Jeremy's problem. What next for us all?

Of course he did, Bob. How could I have overlooked that? I am justly rebuked.

Michael, I wouldn't dream of denying it. At the time of the Brexit vote, the UK took the lead in the Cretins' Olympics, but in the end, America took the gold medal.
