Default Jean L. Kreiling at New Verse News

with a superb poem. Formalist, thought-provoking. You can read it here. (Came up yesterday, but I only saw it this a.m. on the daily send-out.) Congratulations Jean.

Splendid poem, Jean. I didn't see the turn coming, but it reinforced your message.

I came across it by chance a few minutes ago -- 'devices meant to dazzle or to kill' is such an offhand gem; 'improvisation' at its best. Congrats, Jean!

Thanks, all. I learned about that venue right here, so thanks for that as well. And what an honor to follow the great Janice D. there by just a few days! (Thanks for the shout-out, Janice.)

Best,
Jean

Wonderful poem, Jean. Quite chilling... I love the way you push the distortion of language (of "improvised") to the limit.

Ha! An innovative misuse of language to start my day with a horselaugh.

(P.S. You are welcome, Jean. I hope to spot more such to shout-out. This is such a good one)
