I think that everyone has been distracted by various National Zombie Poetry Day festivities.

A timid suggestion: Those who very much want to see certain events this year might do some work to line up judges for them. It's asking a lot of Alex and the staff to expect them to find people who can devote, for no pay, the kind of time needed to make these events worthwhile.
