Thank you for the link, Gail. Those are very nice poems - I especially enjoyed reading about mermaids - and i agree with you about cats. As Baudelaire says:

O, Gail, these are wonderful poems! They brim with beauty and wisdom and love. But if I had to choose among them for a "favorite", I would have to say that, as someone who is also on the "primrose path toward" her seventies, "Resemblances" struck a deep chord, very deep, and all I could do was nod in agreement and understanding.
