BTW, scholarship applications must be accompanied by a conference registration form. No payment required.

General scholarship applications to the West Chester University Poetry Conference are due on Friday, April 1. Applications must be accompanied by a registration form. No deposit is required. If you don’t intend on applying for a scholarship, the $100 reduced rate will be available until April 15. If you have students, please encourage them to apply, for we have funds earmarked for undergraduate and graduate students. Former and new attendees are also eligible for scholarship assistance. Contact amascherino@wcupa.edu if you have any questions.

The scholarship applications have been read and judged. Everyone who applied will be receiving some measure of financial support ($300-$500) to attend the conference. In the case of cancellations, we may have a bit more money to use. I'll send out a letter to applicants this week.

The Wil Mills full scholarship valued at $1200 will be decided in the next week or so. Some authors of Mills entries that do not win will also be contacted with scholarship offers.

I encourage all of you, if you fall under either of these categories, to complete and send an online conference registration form. We cannot offer money to anyone who has not registered. There is no fee to do so, and you are under no obligation to attend the conference. Workshops are filling up fast, so make your choice now!

Sam
