"San Diego Reader" sonnet contest
I know some of you will want to take a shot. Joseph O'Brien is a fine editor.
http://www.sandiegoreader.com/contes...eater-tickets/
In honor of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death on April 23rd, 1616, we are pleased to announce the first ever San Diego Reader Sonnet Contest.
Five winners will be selected and published in the San Diego Reader's April 20th, 2016 issue. Each winner will receive a $100 cash prize, theater tickets, and bragging rights (at least until the 401st anniversary of the Bard's death!).
This paper has published me, Alfred Nicol, and Cally Conan-Davies. When you have finished reading the guidelines, go read us. My own poems, "White Pocahontas," and "The Fault Along the Floor," are at:

I don't enter these contests, you will face no competition from me, and I say, Good luck to all.
Jennifer

I entered. Contests that have no entry fee are few, and not every journal is keen to publish sonnets. Thanks, Jennifer.

Thanks, Jennifer.
I was just about to enter, but have a technical question: Are we supposed to send the poem in the body of the email or attach it in some .rtf document? The rules didn't make that clear.

I sent mine in the body of an email, Martin. I haven't heard anything contrary so far.

I've been linking a lot on Twitter to this publication. I just linked to four poems by David Mason.
