Default The June Prune

Hello everyone,

Pruning of old threads takes place periodically, and the rhyming "June Prune" appeals to me, so it will happen this month! Don't worry, I'll let you know the exact date and time. This applies to:

Metrical, The Deep End, Non-Metrical, Fiction and Translation.

Threads which haven't been posted on for at least 30 days (60 in the case of the Translation board) will disappear, so if you wish to preserve any of them please save them in a file somewhere, or print them out . . . whatever.

The pruning won't take place for at least a week from the date of this announcement (June 3rd) to give you all time to get around to keeping the stuff you want. Please PM me if you have any queries.

Thanks, and all the best,
Jayne

Oh, Jayne, I'm so disappointed. When I saw the title, I was expecting to read an amusing but deep-end-worthy poem called "The June Prune". My mouth was already watering.

I think you owe me, and others who feel similarly let down, a poem by that name on D & A.

Yes, Jayne, show us yours! Others too. I've shown mine at D & A.

Thanks, Brian and Ralph. (Oh no, what have I started?)

OK, if I can find the time, I'll give it a go . . .

Hi Jayne,

If you do it on the 9th, then it'll be a June prune by the full moon.
