Default Reading at Colorado College

Nick's late notice of his reading tomorrow prompted me to bring another reading to your notice, also taking place tomorrow.

Colorado Springs isn't New York! But if anyone is in the area, Dave and I would love to see you at our reading.

All the details are here. Come, if you can! I'm excited, and I hope it will be fun!

Cally

Woof WOOF!!

I'll try, Memsy! I'm sure to break a sweat, and I'll try to break a hundred hearts while I'm at it!!!!!!!

Seriously, watching Dave perform the beautiful music in 'Sea Salt' is amazing. I think we're all in for a very special treat. He'll be reading from his forthcoming book 'Davey McGravy', too.

I probably won't be able to make it (damned magic carpet is on the blink) but will be thinking of you both.

Since your magic is on the blink, I'll use mine: three long blinks before we begin, then an alternative theatre will appear, full of absent friends!

I'll SEE you there!

And Sereeeeee - SO funny, the other day, sitting in a dentist's chair in Oregon, when he heard my Australian voice, the dentist dropped his instrument and cried out, "the Timtam slam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" His parents lived in Melbourne for a year, and carried timtams back with them to the USA, and the whole family now sucks their beverage of choice through timtams!!! SLAM!

Hope K3 has a magical time in the Downunder!!!! He might never return!!!

Thanks for the good thoughts, all! There'll be an Irish Pub involved in the evening at some point, so I'll be sure to conjure your presences there, too!

Cally
