Richard Wilbur's "New And Collected Poems"
First, I want to thank this group for reemphasizing Richard Wilbur's poems to me.
I am reading his "New And Collected Poems," and for the first time, I am enjoying a poet's work as much as I have enjoyed Frost's.
Every line is a joy, and there is so much information packed in it. What makes Wilbur's poems a joy, is he does not sacrifice purity at all.
So thank you group, not so much for introducing Wilbur to me, but more for reemphasizing him.
The Pulitzer he got for the work is well deserved.
