Dear Folks,

I'm off to England tomorrow, to convert the heathens at Oxford, London, and the Lake District to the manifold virtues of American retro verse. Very Far North is my second large collection, 119 pages in a handsome hardcover, which all of you WILL ORDER from www.waywiser-press.com. Alternatively you can get it from Amazon UK or Amazon US when it appears in the States in May. I think about ten of the ninety-six poems were workshopped here, although Alan's final EfH versions will be new to you. Many thanks to all who participated in the improvement of my terribly imperfect poems. When I return the lariat board will resume, with guests Paul Lake, Dick Davis, and an obscure fellow from Massachusetts name of Dickie Wilbur. Meantime, many thanks to Dave Mason, whose books all of us should own. love, Timothy
