I've just received copies of the print journal, Leviathan Quarterly, from the UK. They've published one of my Ronsard translations, "Chanson."
This is Number 6, December 2002; it contains numerous trenchant prose pieces as well as poems, including Frank Kearful's critique of several of Richard Wilbur's and Anthony Hecht's books and interviews, entitled "The Odd Couple" (affectionately biographical and not quite as humorous as it sounds). The Editor is Michael Hulse.
Thanks to Tim Murphy especially for the tweaks on this one!
Terese

Warmest congratulations, Terese. Let me take this opportunity to announce that The New Formalist's next e-book will be a selection of Ronsard translations by OUR Terese. Erato Rules!

Oliver, Renate, and Tim
Thanks to each of you! And Tim, I'm just as thrilled about The New Formalist e-book now as when I first heard about it. You are a natural-born poet and impresario. Vive Ronsard, Vive Murphy, Vive Erato! What would we ever do without this place? I dread to think.

Congratulations, Terese! Well deserved! And it's true about Erato, especially the Translation Board, where I'm learning so much.

Just got my issue, Terese. Fine translation! And in very good company, too. For those that don't know Leviathan, it is a fine UK journal with eclectic tastes, and publishes an impressive range of UK and US poets & authors. I don't think it has a web site, though.
Subscriptions are $56 (US)
Leviathan Quarterly

The Hecht/Wilbur essay in the same issue is very interesting.
Congratulations!

Terese,
Many congratulations, and I look forward to the e-book.
