Dear Friends,
I wanted to let you all know that I will be participating in a long-time reading series called "Rant & Rave" on Monday, April 21 at 8 p.m. (next Monday!).
It's hosted by the Rogue Machine Theatre Company at Theatre Theater, at 5041 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90019. The cross street is La Brea. Phone: (855) 585-5185.

Each reading has a theme. The night I read will focus on "Prostitution," quite an interesting and challenging topic to write about!
I am honored to be a part of this series, which features readings largely by actors, although some fine poets have appeared in the series too--for example, Douglas Kearney and Brendan Constantine--as well as writers of fiction. This theater has also been named “one of the most vital small theaters in L.A.” by the Los Angeles Times.
The Rant & Rave series, described as "an evening of cathartic thinking by some of the most dangerous minds in the city," is hosted by Ron Bottitta, a fine actor!
And it's produced by John Pollono and Roxanne Hart. John's play "Small Engine Repair" swept the Los Angeles theater awards in 2011, and went on to a larger scale production in New York last year.
If you live in the Los Angeles area, do come!
All best,
Charlotte
