Girlie Calendar
My new poetry collection, Girlie Calendar, is available HERE. This is the final volume in what I am now calling "The Lillian Trilogy" ( Word Hot, Conjuring My Leafy Muse, and Girlie Calendar).

Brilliant title, and a wry, elegant cover, Mary.

Thanks so much, Nemo, Ed, and E. Shaun.
Special MWAH to Nemo, who wrote a terrific blurb/preface/poem for the book. You can read a tiny piece of it on this page of books and while you're there, may I point out the words in bold at the top of the page about the best place to buy the book. If you're planning to buy any Headmistress books, the links marked HERE make a big difference in her tiny pocketbook.
Looking at the cover art for the image above, I was thrilled to see that it spans the centuries (from left to right) from 1775 to 1862 to 1913. I'm still in shock at how I could work on so many tiny details for 12 years (and many thanks to all you critters!!!) and eventually make it cohere into a trilogy (!!!???).

Thrilled to announce that Girlie Calendar is now available on Amazon, and listed as a Hot New Release.
May I recommend some light summer reading? You might enjoy a taste of some velvet quatrains. You may Look Inside to read the whole first poem, the haiku-ish "Wu Tsao's Seclusion."

I used to get a Girlie Calendar from the Rigid Tool company at the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers when I was a greenie business reporter covering energy in the '80s. Miss Rigid Tool, the model who straddled the big machines in the calendar, was always on hand at the Rigid Tool booth. The line for signed calendars filled two aisles in most convention centers.
Yours looks better. Do you do signed copies?
