I'm pleased to report that LIGHT just accepted three of my poems. I believe that all three of them were posted at Erato at some point, at least in "Rhymed Repartee," and I know they would not have been written had it not been for the back-and-forth fun here at Erato.

The poems they took were "Transvestite Sonnet," "My Part in the Scandal," and "Jokes Talk Back."

Cross your fingers, Roger. With luck there may be 14 more.

How did I miss, "My Part in the Scandal"? Great title for light verse, with appropriate resonance in our cultural voyeurism.

Congratulations Roger.

Roger, that is really exciting and a great accomplishment. Three poems, no less! Great news!

For anyone wanting to check out Roger's poems who doesn't subscribe, I've noticed some issues of Light in the literary magazine section of Borders bookstores. And you can read excerpts from each issue at http://www.lightquarterly.com.

As I just mentioned over at Lariat, it looks like Roger is soon to have 14 more poems in Light, and Hayes, 20!
