Gail, I love your poem. A knock-out.
I am a Southerner at heart, but born and raised on the northern banks of the Ohio River, so I will have to content myself with being a reader. Could be worse, I could be blind!!!

Yes, I absolutely loved your poem...and the SWR is a great publication. As for me, is living in NW FL for 18 yrs enough to qualify as Southern? As for you, you have one fan in me. I mean, you've won me as a fan. I mean... well you get the idea.

Siham, I think NW Florida is good enough... I was born & raised in Pensacola, though I now feel like a Louisiana native.
