Dear fellow-poets,

In its latest online issue, at http://www.antigonishreview.com/bi-1...ercameron.html
The Antigonish Review is airing my essay "'Earthwake' and Its Sources." "Earthwake," a poem I wrote in 1970-71, is an elegy for Paul Celan and at the same time a response to Auden's elegy for Yeats. I wrote the essay to unpack the associations of the poem and to say what the poem says once more in prose form. To have that on record has done something for my peace of mind. I hope some of you will have a look at it.

Note: the poem is posted with the essay -- at the end.

Esther

Interesting read, Esther. Thanks for posting the link.

I am in awe of your consciousness. My own writing is too much without it.
