The Great American Wise Ass Poetry Anthology
Here's what I sent to one of the editors, followed by his reply.
"Hi - In view of the title of the book, this may be a Dumb Ass question, but I'm writing to ask whether non-Americans (I'm an Englishman living in Paris) are eligible to enter your current competition for poems that are snarky, etc."
"Sure, you may send us your submission."

If I'm reading correctly, the deadline for submission was two months ago and the winners will be notified next week? Please tell me I'm wrong!
Doh! Shoulda looked at the dates. . . .

I've had an acceptance as well. Previously published at the excellent Alabama Literary Review. Thanks Katie for the heads-up to the Eratosphere community.
PS. But I had forgotten about submitting and it wasn't registered in my files since I sent my poem when I was in the US of A. So I did a double-take when the email with the subject line "Re: Wise-ass Janice D. Soderling" arrived shortly after the closing of the controversial Pub thread.
