[Nausheen Eusuf]

Elise Hempel has a poem in Ted Kooser's weekly American Life in Poetry. Here's the link. I'm not sure if Elise is on the Sphere anymore, but she used to be, and the poem is from a book published by Able Muse Press, so I thought it's worth posting. I love how the whole poem (unrhymed sonnet?) is stuffed into a single sentence with a complicated build-up and denouement.
