Thank you for reading the essay.
To answer your question posed above, I am not concerned whatsoever with the author's and/or the journal's central concern of Catholicism,
per se. The review was unsolicited by me; I am grateful for it, and I believe Wilson captures the essence of spirituality I hope to convey in those books.
In any event, it bolsters all other reviews of my work, except, of course, the scathing commentary on
Lines of Flight, penned by Elsa Brains in
The Raintown Review in 2012.
I share the disgust and condemnation of the clergy sexual abuse (and the cover-ups and failures to act) in the Catholic Church, to which my little poem, "Chasubles", attests. There is much need for reform, but so far, nothing going, to my dismay.
