Super Bowl
Are there football fans here?
I love me some Seattle Seahawks.
I'll make my prediction.
Hawks 34
Pats 19
On to Buffalo wings and nachos!

Go Giants. Oh, wait, they're not in it. Go, somewhat grudgingly, Pats.
Pulled pork, ribs, sausage, beans, cole slaw, guacamole and tortillas will help assuage the Giant's, um...difficulties...this year.

Go Liverpool! Oh wait, other football. Go Kasparov--oh he's retired. Whatever.

The Patriots used to be my 'team away from home.' If the Chargers couldn't win, I rooted for New England. But they've spent the last 15 years dwelling in the house of evil, cheating at every turn, whilst proclaiming their virtue. The hypocrisy has grown too heavy to bear. It mocks an honest man's sense of justice.
One longs for the triumph of righteousness over villainy, and so one must root for Seattle.

Is there a sporting event of some sort taking place today?
I like what the ancient Roman poet Juvenal wrote: panem et circenses.

I like Seattle cuz they have that fancy needle tower. Otherwise football is the most boring game since baseball. And from all your posts it sounds fattening - and where's the beer with those nachos?

Arthur just watched Arsenal beat Aston Villa 5-0, so he's euphoric.
That's our sporting event for today.
Fortunately, Cute Overload already showed the Budweiser commercial.

Ha! No sour grapes for me. I know my state has a football team, but I never watch them play. I don't care for any of the organized sports, college or professional.
