Default John Whitworth another poetic scrap

I'm on the trail of another poem I wrote but now can't find. It's about Morlocks and contains a couple of lines that go something like

O my children, dread the morlocks.
Shut your windows. Lock your doorlocks.

Then more stuff about them creeping about.

John,

Have you tried the 'Search' facility in your documents? A word like Morlocks should show up instantly.

I can't imagine what sort of chaotic system you have for filing your poems! Don't you use 'Folders'?

I assure you, Jayne, my poems are very nicely sorted out in 36 folders with about fifteen poems in each folder. But the morloks are not there. And my entries to competitions are all there too, both the winners and the losers. No morlocks. But I know I wrote it. Unless it was a Coleridgean dream...

I have found something that allows me to search the files. But I cannot find how to make it search for a word, in this case 'morlocks'. Do you know how to do this?

I have found how to search for a word. No luck with morlocks or doorlocks.

I'll ring you later, John, and tell you how to do it.

(At the moment I'm looking after my very sick daughter until my son-in-law comes home from work. She returned from a business trip to Australia and Kuala Lumpur yesterday, having picked up some hideous bacteria in KL - or the ''Hell hole'' as she prefers to call it.)

Ingenious, Ann, but in vain.

Nearest I've found to it is a poem called "Armageddon Out of Here" in MacIntyre's Improbable Bestiary. He stole your rhyme, anyway.

Or I stole his. I'm rewriting the poem from the scraps I remember. It's going quite well. I shall post it when I am done and you can all marvel.
